A goat in sheep’s clothing?

Determine whether your lamb meat has been mislabelled and substituted with goat meat, using our new Goat Meat reference material (LGC7226). Meat fraud is an ongoing issue in the food supply chain, where consumers are cheated and cheaper cuts of meat are used.

Helping your laboratory to develop and validate methods, to identify the true species in meat samples, our CRM was analysed using DNA sequencing, PCR and immunoassay.
