Food Safety - Nitrofurans

Read this recent review on nitrofuran residues in food in Food Control. Looking at shrimp, it also recommends adding Nifursol to laboratory testing suites using the marker metabolite 3,5-dinitrosalicylic hydrazine (DNSAH), particuarly for turkey and chicken samples. Nifursol is one of an extensive range of nitrofurans and metabolites available fromLGC.
